After getting burgled five times in three weeks, Thailand blogger, Bangkok Dan, is growing weary of his role as impromptu crime correspondent.
When Dan reported the thefts to police, they reacted in characteristic fashion by fingering him as the prime suspect. “It happens all the time,” they assured his Thai wife. Dan’s lawyer also cautioned him that, as a foreigner, tackling the burglar himself could cost him dear if the police became involved.
Now he has resorted to decorating his garden wall with broken glass.
